Location: Hendricks County, in the Danville city limits;
Danville is 13 miles west of Indianapolis. Woodfield on Washington
is one mile north of Ind. 36 on North Washington Street.
History: Danville, the Hendricks County seat, is the oldest town in the area, with the first settlement forming in 1823. A year later, the county was officially organized. Woodfield on Washington was begun in 1991.
Style of homes: Eclectic mix, including ranches, colonials, Victorians and prairie houses. All homes are constructed from natural materials.
